About me
Rebekah Hornak, MA., is an Implementation and Communication Specialist for the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN), the SISEP Center, and the Effective Implementation Cohort (EIC). As an Implementation Specialist for EIC, Hornak currently provides technical assistance to WestEd, Achievement Network, and Instruction Partners as they implement a high-quality math curriculum in three districts. Additionally, Hornak is assisting the Pennsylvania Early Intervention TA Center in learning and embedding implementation science into their way of work. Beyond her implementation specialist work, Hornak is responsible for the dissemination and communication activities for NIRN, SISEP Center, and EIC. Current leadership positions include serving as a member of the NIRN leadership Team and on the Implementation Division Leadership Team at the UNC Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute. Hornak’s previously held experiences include Executive Director of Instruction at a regional agency, Curriculum Director, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher at various school districts in Michigan.
