About me
Kelley Cusmano is proud to represent MI as the 2024-2025 Michigan Teacher of the Year. She is an English & Student Leadership Teacher at Rochester High School in Rochester, MI with 20 years of classroom teaching. She has a BA in English/History as well as a MA in Curriculum and Instruction and Administration from Michigan State University. She is also the Rochester High Student Council Adviser and in March 2017 was named Michigan Association of Student Council's Adviser of the Year. In addition, she is the at-large teacher representative on the Michigan ASCD Board. Previously, she was an ASCD Emerging Leader (’16), an EdReports Klawe Fellow and in 2018, she was part of a team of educators that organized the MI Governor’s Summit on Education and Talent. She has a husband, John as well as two amazing daughters Mia (11) and Annabel (13) who are the loves of her life.
