About me
Lisa Francisco is a Partnership Agreement Liaison and Manager within the Office of Partnership Districts at the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). She supports partnership districts in achieving their outcome and process goals to positively impact student achievement. Francisco serves on multiple cross-office teams developing, improving and coordinating MDE resources and systems support to districts in the areas of Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS), Early Warning Intervention Monitoring System, Supports and Accountability. She has been an educator for over 30 years as a teacher, school principal, and consultant supporting districts throughout Michigan. Francisco is passionate about system implementation and experienced firsthand how MTSS implementation with fidelity yields exceptional results. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Michigan State University and Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
