About me
Rebecca Longcore is the Director of Learning and Regional Implementation Team Coordinator for Allegan Area Educational Service Agency. She leads a team of dynamic Coaches, Consultants, and Coordinators as they provide professional learning, services, and support to leadership teams, administrators, and educators in Allegan County. She is currently working towards her Level 2 Implementation Specialist badge with the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN) and has previously held roles as a school social worker, MTSS Coordinator, Behavior Specialist, and Director of Special Education. Rebecca came to Allegan Area ESA as the Whole Child MTSS Coordinator and was charged with leading a county-level launch of the whole child educational framework; focusing on social-emotional growth, employee wellness, and the scale-up of a county-level multi-tiered system of support. For the past three years, Rebecca and her team have led the Team-Based Collaborative learning series centered around growing a leader's knowledge of Implementation Science and integrating Active Implementation Frameworks into current practice. Systems development is always an underpinning to her work. Whether she is partnering with the State, regional, or local district teams, she can always be found enthusiastically building implementation plans with a whiteboard and markers! In her free time, she enjoys watching her children's sports, running, and spending time in Northern Michigan. She is also an avid reader; check out her latest read, The Fearless Organization (Edmondson, 2018).
