2024 MDE Continuous Improvement Conference

Adel DiOrio, Ed.S. serves as the Associate Superintendent of Instruction for Montcalm Area Intermediate School District. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Elementary Education from Alma College, a Master of Arts in Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational Administration K-12 from Michigan State University, and a Specialist in General Education Administration (Ed.S.) from Central Michigan University. Adel is a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership program at Central Michigan University.

Adel holds a Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate with teaching endorsements in Spanish and mathematics and a Michigan School Administrator Certificate with endorsements in Elementary, Secondary, and Central Office. Adel's passions lie in the areas of instructional leadership and organizational development, school culture, curricular design, student engagement, and assessment for learning. Adel is a member of the General Education Leadership Network (GELN) and is co-chair of the GELN Disciplinary Literacy Task Force. She serves on the Montcalm Area Career Center Educational Careers Advisory Board and the Montcalm Community College Education Support Advisory Committeee She also served on Michigan's Talent Together Design Team.
